La Mesteceni Country Club

La Mesteceni Country Club is a place in the heart of Transylvania where you will find a unique natural setting for your relaxation and well-being.

Situated at 5 km from Sebes, in the vicinity of the European Highway E 81 linking Sebes with Sibiu, La Mesteceni is an oasis of peace and tranquility at the foothills of the Sureanu and Cindrel mountains.

More than a simple accommodation and leisure location, The Club is also the starting point for riding adventures in the Transylvanian mountains and a place for relaxation for non-riders who can explore the attractions of the area.

They can play golf at Pianu de Sus, a club founded by the golf instructor of the former king of Romania, Mihai of Hohenzzolern, go fishing at the Boz Lake or visit the mediaeval Castle at Calnic across the hill. The whole area invites you to long or short trips on foot, on horseback, by bike or by horse-drawn carriage, all these facilities being available from the club.

In the Club Restaurant, apart from the set menus, our guests may order festive meals for special occasions.

Most of our food is organically grown on our own farm or in the nearby villages and our guests have always appreciated the taste and flavour of local produce grown without chemical fertilizers.

Within the club grounds you will have the free use of the clay tennis court and swimming pool or you may make a booking for the Sauna, Jacuzzi and massage.

One of the special facilities of the club, unique to this area is The English Riding School, whose instructors can initiate you in the art of this noble sport.
